Mr. Wenning is an aquatic ecotoxicologist and Principal scientist at the international engineering and scientific consultancy Exponent Inc. He has experience across diverse industrial sectors in environmental decision analysis, ecological risk assessment, impact assessment, and monitoring. He has directed freshwater and marine sediment investigations and aquatic restoration planning studies in several countries for private companies and government agencies. Common to this work has been a focus either, retrospectively, on the environmental consequences of environmental accidents or legacy waste handling and disposal activities; or, prospectively, on the plausible consequences of future commercial resource exploration and development.
