Bill is an expert in the history, occurrence and remediation of 1,4-dioxane and PFAS, having assessed these emerging contaminants at 100’s of sites. Bill frequently conducts 1,4-dioxane and PFAS training for a variety of groups, including the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC), US EPA, US DOD, US DOE, the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the University Consortium for Field-Focused Groundwater Contamination Research. Bill has been actively engaged with the ITRC PFAS Team, as the treatment technologies writing subgroup co-lead, content trainer, and roundtable panelist. His enthusiastic support of ITRC earned him the 2018 Industry Member of the Year award.
